Wow, sounds like someone is not responsibly taking care of the waste from a lot of people! Where is this opperation (the address)? I’d like to visit and check it out. Anyone want to come with me? 778 265 0267.

The Greater Victoria Compost education center has great info about how to compost in a way that doesn’t smell bad. I’ve bee composting for years and just like the folks at Ecosense we even compost our poops with no detectable odours.

The landfill is no place for biological materials that can be composted properly back into humous rich soil amendment which will serve us all in catching and holding rainfall and buffering the effects of runoff that kills the fish in our streams. We have to compost these things and if people aren’t able to do it on an individual basis then large systems are very important.

Let’s help this neighbor get it right so it doesn’t stink up the place and so that it helps us all get healthy fish back into our streams by creating healthy soil for healthy land that feeds healthy streams that feedhealthy fish that feed healthy people. Food has always come from fish around here and we have to get the fish back by taking care of our waste.
