I hope he’s prepared for it. He is in a perfect position to actually accomplish something. If he just repeats Green Party talking points and never strays from mindless repetition of the standard canards and platitudes — his election will be pointless. However, if he truly exerts his own intelligence and skill and brings his full life experience to the job he can be a true and effective leader and not a token. I’d happily edit and polish or write his speeches or position papers or at least give him my take on things to help him accomplish tangible progress. I’m sincerely hoping he has not just swallowed the Kool-Aid and wastes the opportunity as an MLA. I’m hoping for the best. Adam really could set the agenda and steer the ship if he has the courage. I wish him all the best and every possible success in politics and life in general.
