PeterSun, 06 Mar 2011 18:19:33 +0000https://www.saanichvoiceonline.ca/?p=52#comment-48With in the next twenty years we will read a similar story explaining agriculture as the old science and art of farming no longer utilized... The garden and friendly farm markets will be storage rooms and "green" grocery stores where one will enjoy harvesting from the large selection of canned vegetables and fruits. On the way home one can buy the daily supply of fresh and healthy frozen foods to consume that evening. Children may learn that these marvelous foods are genetically manufactured in the exotic agricultural belts of the planet...such zones as Kirkland. This story can go on and I may be old school but I'd rather be stuck behind the tractor being driven to a real, and productive, patch of soil. With in the next twenty years we will read a similar story explaining agriculture as the old science and art of farming no longer utilized… The garden and friendly farm markets will be storage rooms and “green” grocery stores where one will enjoy harvesting from the large selection of canned vegetables and fruits.
